Waiting On Wednesday {15}

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill over at Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Expected Publication: November 8th 2012

Flash PointReality TV meets a chillingly realistic version of America--and the fame game is on!

Amy had dreams of going to college, until the Collapse destroyed the economy and her future. Now she is desperate for any job that will help support her terminally ill grandmother and rebellious younger sister. When she finds herself in the running for a slot on a new reality TV show, she signs on the dotted line, despite her misgivings. And she's right to have them. TLN's Who Knows People, Baby--You? has an irresistible premise: correctly predict what the teenage cast will do in a crisis and win millions. But the network has pulled strings to make it work, using everything from 24/7 hidden cameras to life-threatening technology to flat-out rigging. Worse, every time the ratings slip, TLN ups the ante. Soon Amy is fighting for her life--on and off camera.

Doesn't this sound great or what? I usually hate reality TV, but for some reason this (and the Hunger Games) just make it sound so thrilling and awesome! By the way, sorry for the blurry image. The one from Goodreads was tiny and wouldn't fit unless I made it bigger. Do you guys like reality shows?

Leave me a legitimate link (as in no copy and pasted URL's, please) to your WOW post and I'll pop on by!

  1. I absolutely hate reality TV, I can deal with TV shows like X Factor and other talent contest, but things like Big Brother just wind me up.

    This one looks amazing, this is the first I've seen of it but I am so excited to check it out!

  2. Sounds good, reminds me of Hunger Games and Running Man, which really makes it more rather than less appealing as a future read :)

Hey, you there, yes you ;)

Thanks for commenting! This is seriously awesome and I promise to try my hardest to get back to you, so do check back if you had a question or something to discuss!

Sadly, this is an award free blog. I really, really appreciate the thought and offer but with grade twelve and other activities as well as blogging, I don't really have all the spare time in the world. But thank you so much for the thought!

Seriously, though. Check back because I love to reply to comments ;)

Ellen.
